What advice do you have for a 91B heading out for a 1st deployment?

MSG (Join to see) said about everything I would say. Just keep your head and don't loose your cool. Remember you're not just a mechanic you're the guy keeping things moving. You will probably spend much of your time on base, but when you do go out, stay alert/stay alive. Don't let words like POG/ FOBBIT bother you. We infantry types will harass your ass, but when the chips are down we know the team counts. Deployments are a team effort.

Remember your training. Keep your head on a swivel. Listen to the guidance/advice of those that have crossed the pond before. Maintain situational awareness and always keep your cool.

Brother if youre in the hemmtt......focus, awarness. Keep your troubleshooting skills extremely proficient. Keep all different tow cables. Hit me back up i used to be a 63 sierra. Hotel 8 wheeled recovery specialists. Also remember this YOU will be an assett to tank platoons as well as drivers. You keep mobility possible remember that.
