It's racial! Anyone who uses color as a distinction for action is the biggest racist in the room. At the same time that Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson, Mo. Where I live, a 4-yr-old black girl was killed in her bed. She was collateral damage from a drive by shooting. The individuals in the car are black. I have no doubt in my mind that Michael Brown is a bag o phallics, I can't say whether the officer was just in shooting him. What I can say with all certainty, is that the little girl was innocent and did not deserve this from anyone. There was no uproar from the black community about this girls death. Unfortunately, there wasn't an uproar from ANY community.

There are more whites killed by police every year in the US than blacks. I don't have a problem prosecuting police officers that use excessive force. They are supposed to be highly trained, and capable of making the right choice. I also understand that they are also human.

Having Federal oversight of a police dept, or body cams will not lower the crime rate in a predominantly black community. but, all of the angry protesters doing the right things can.

All lives matter but they should matter equally. When you see a black man walk away and gets shot seven times in the back and then we see a white kid with an AR-15 strapped to his shoulder and walks right by the police officers it makes people wonder does his life matter more than the back man .

So is it ok for same said black man to rob a place a knife point and then walk towards another place to rob? The officers in that scenario had to stop him, they tried a tazer...it didn't even phase the guy let alone stop him.

Same said man would not be lying in a bed paralyzed if he would have done as he was directed to do by the police. Did they over react? I don't know, that is what the investigation is for.

As for the white teen with the gun....heck yeah he should have been stopped before he even shot the 1st round. The police on that one dropped the ball big time.

BLM movement has become an excuse for anyone involved with that group to become looters, violent towards others that do not support them.

I will never support, defend, or even help a group that has changed from a good thing to a violent terrorist group.

That is my opinion of that group and only mine. I will not force my opinions on anyone.

I don't necessarily consider it a racial situation. I would call it more of a selfish plea for acceptance.

They had a point, until they started calling for the death of Police. At that point they became a terrorist group and more racist than the klan.

If they continue all hell will break loose.

Maybe that's what they want.

Until Black Live Matter, All Lives Don't Matter. Like Most of My Neighborhood I Stand with Black Lives Matter. Those that are Trying to Portray BLM as anything other than Civil Rights and Real "Right to Lifers" I view as Not So Subtle Racist.

You are entitled to your opinions. Just because someone chooses not to support BLM doesn't mean they are racist.

What I see today compared to 4 years ago when I posted this question is completely different now.....

Like I said EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO THEIR OPINIONS AND I WILL NOT JUDGE YOU FOR HAVING DIFFERENT VIEWS THAN MINE.

HAVE A GREAT DAY AND A WONDERFUL WEEKEND

Your view of BLM and reality do not mesh. Maybe at one time BLM was what your envision it, but that is NOT the BLM of today and has not been the case for a while. And there is nothing racist in that opinion. You might want to reacquaint yourself with what racist and racism is.

I have read the BLM site's site and the "about" section clearly reflects their position, and if you take it further to the Black Liberation Movement history, the answers to your questions are answered.
