What are some good MCIs to do as a Lance Corporal?

I am a lance Corporal 6113 going to 6173 school and i need some good MCI’s any recommendations are welcome

Don't know if they still have it or if it has rank restrictions, but Warfighting is good and if you get really ambitious Amphib Warfare. Both come with a stack of several books (sub courses). You'll learn a lot and if you stick around you'll be way ahead of the power curve, because they "were" required for Company Grade O's and it will show great initiative on your part.

1)_Take three MCI's in your MOS/aviation field
2)_Then take one basic education MCI if you have a weakness, No matter how good you are at English and writing, assume that you have a weakness.
3)_Then take one ground combat MOS MCI,
4)_Then take one combat service support MOS MCI,
5)_Then take one MCI for the next billet you want. If it isn't apparent, ask the current billet holder what he/she recommends. I wanted the 81mm Mortars platoon. But never took any mortar related MCI's. The Battalion CO gave 81's to the 1stLt that had completed every mortar related MCI. You don't have to tell me twice, I started taking every Surveillance and Target Acquisition Platoon related MCI and Intel related MCI. It worked.

All of them... LOL. Find ones related to your MOS via the MOS Roadmap and any worth ACE accreditation.

Do as many as you can in as many areas as you can. Focus on Leadership Marine NCO,. All points count in your promotion score, or least they use to . Find Mad Dogs Marine reading list...Read. intake as much info as you can when ever you can. You never know when that one piece of information will save your ass in a tough spot.

If you haven't already then leading marines is a must. And then math or grammar for marines is good. And then your most read map things. And dont forget to read books and do a book report.

Do all of the MCIs in the MOS roadmap on MarineNet. It looks really good on boards. Better than doing the weapons systems. Especially in a 6 series MOS.
