What are some sweets you've had from other countries that are impossible to find in the US or at least rarely imported?

Violet Crumble cars. First off, these bars are a little bigger than a snickers bar, but 4x the price. At $4 a bar they are on the more expensive side of the candy isle. These are hard to find Australian imports, but apparently highly sought after. How many of you have tried these and are there any other candies that are hard to find that others should try?

I rarely see Kinder chocolate here (at least in the JBLM and Augusta area). There is a lovely mom and pap shop in Parkland called Marvel Food.... Their chocolate selection from Russia and other European countries is outstanding... I recommend anyone in the area to stop by this place

SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser
It's because the FDA bans foods that contain foreign items inside, which is stupid with this type of candy considering it basically splits apart and voila there is a toy and easy to separate.

I always liked the Japanese hard fruit candy. Has more fruit flavor and far less sugar. I'd bring it home with me every time as my boys got hooked on it. Funny thing is the Japanese food stores in the US seldom carry that stuff but every other candy under the sun. Had to get over my mental block, but Pocari Sweat is a fairly decent soft drink.
