Great answer Rick but we had the on base cleaners where the even starched the uniforms for you. When in training, I just threw my uniforms the washing machine!

Kim does a great Job and at a cheaper price compared to the rest. She’s about a mile on the right rugged in the corner on Yadkin Road. But shop around and check out locations so you are familiar and see prices as well before you jump in the first one recommended.
Finally, I am old school, never used services to get my uniform squared away. Always got them pressed and I put on my ribbons myself. I still shine my own boost, and looks the same as those who lay $35 to get theirs shined. But hey to each their own.

Monarch cleaners on Ray rd is the one I always used. They take GREAT care with uniforms.

Okay, so I am going to bust a bubble here. The first thing you need to do is get yourself squared away. If you were one of my soldiers and showed up with your beret on your head like you have in your picture, I would have thrown you out of my formation. You need to get familiar with DA-Pam 670-1, Paragraph 18.3(d) (page 112) (25 May 2017).
