Veteran Scholarships: From Service to Service - Vet2Tech
Vet2Tech provides veteran scholarships for the CFESA approved Basic Technician Training Program that guarantees a job interview upon completion.
We are grateful when veterans return to American soil and are reunited with their loved ones. We demonstrate our pride and appreciation at local parades with handshakes and congratulatory pats on the back. We must take into consideration the unique challenges veterans face as they acclimate back into a civilian environment.
Veterans must reinvent themselves upon their return from duty. Their transition from military to civilian life is often emotional, confusing, and difficult. Emotions must be set aside as practical matters dictate their new method of survival. Veteran’s anticipate their return home as an opportunity to start new careers with stable incomes and advancement opportunities. They hope the skills learned while in the Armed Forces serve them well as they enter the civilian workforce.
Vet2Tech has the power to improve the quality of a veteran’s life by helping them translate their military occupational specialties (MOS) for new careers in manufacturing and technical services. Vet2Tech also provides access to job interviews with companies in the manufacturing and technical service sectors.

The Veterans Career Transition Program, operated by the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University, is delivered at no cost to post-9/11 veterans, their spouses, and spouses of active duty military.
If you are preparing to separate, I'd recommend you attend our Veterans Professional Advancement Course; at no cost other than your travel to our corporate headquarters or attending remotely online.
It's a one-day bootcamp on transition topics, resume scrubbing, and multiple practice interviews. It is also a great networking opportunity. We have partnered with Huntington Bank and Stanley Steemer. Our main mission is to support vets and help them get in the pipeline for getting hired. Our team does its best to get you a job either at our company or someplace else. But we are also very direct in saying that you have a lot of work to do to prepare. We'll be there to help you.

The class is live in Dublin, Ohio, but can be attended remotely. In person is best if you can make it. We've had vets come in from all over the east coast.
We are working to take our program national and have classes at all of our company's 100 distribution centers throughout the country. That is in the future.
