It will require some fast moving on the part of those calling him on conflict of interest issues, however I suspect he could be in court within the first 100 days.

In court? Don't you mean 'on trial in the Senate?

SSG Robert Webster - There will be a lot of court battles beore this hits the Senate. The first step will be fighting to have information released under Freedom of Information Act rules, I'm sure that will wind up in the courts. https://www.aclu.org/news/aclu-announces-first-legal-action-trump-conflicts-interest-lays-out-plan-challenge-proposed

SSG (Join to see) - Thank you. The reason that I asked is because you referenced the conflict of interest issues, which some politicians have already threatened impeachment action on. Only problem with the ACLU action will be if they can prove that they have standing to bring suit, that is a difficult hurdle to cross for them.

I can see the liberal media come out with more than 60% of Military members on RP think Trump has a 25% chance of being impeached.

It is a zero percent question. Even if he were guilty of something none of that would matter because he has a majority in his favor. Politics now trumps everything else as is normal in our banana republic. Maybe Trump can turn this around.

Not likely. I'm betting more that people will start to pay little attention to what he's doing the further into the year we get. Eventually it's going to hit a lull like it did with Obama where no one even in the news will really be talking about him much unless he does something big.

Most of the people who talk about impeaching this or any other president have no idea what they are talking about. Impeachment is one thing and removal from office is an entirely different matter! I don't see either one happening and in fact find it a little disconcerting that those it the House would even be speaking on this-just tells me they have no idea what they're taking about or they believe we (the people) are really really stupid!!

Don't discount the possibility it'll come from the GOP. Many GOP cliques have legitimate issues with him; Libertarians, Neocons, free traders, anyone critical of Russia, etc. I suspect most of them would be far more comfortable with Pence than Trump. I wouldn't be shocked if Ryan has a Mad Libs like fill-in-the-blanks Articles of Impeachment for him waiting in the wings. You'll find plenty of criticism for him in historically GOP publications like WSJ, and National Review; and also in places critical of Obama like the Cato institute and Reason Magazine.

1SG(P) (Join to see) - Having legitimate issues is not even close to the same thing as having grounds for impeachment. And I would be extremely shocked to find Ryan has any sort of pre-prepared Articles of Impeachment waiting.

SSgt Christopher Brose - It's a joke. It's hard to reference something like Mad Libs and be too literal.

As for issues, I'm saying there's guys in the GOP who'd love to see Trump go.

Trump isn't dumb enough to do something illegal to cause impeachment. The Republicans do control Congress and, will not impeach a fellow Republican (even though he's not well liked in the party). We are seeing the Democrats fringe liberals in their party becoming like the Tea Party like the Republicans. They'll make a lot of noise and obstruct President Trump's moves when possible. This will cause more executive actions like what President Obama had done causing precedence for using executive actions.

I think some serious buttons are being pushed. Rubio asked for some clarification from the state department on the visa EO and they were told not to discuss with congress.

With the way trends are going nowadays, I doubt it. It would cost too much money and time and with negative results. Nothing good will come from it.
