What are the contract lengths of 25B? What level of clearance will I have to get?

Does anyone know the contract length of a 25B MOS? And I know that a secret clearance is required but do you have to get top secret as well? Any info is appreciated.

Six year hitch to include BCT/AIT. A secret is required, and you'll only get a TS only if you are assigned to a unit that requires it.

I personally did 6 years on my first term as 25B, and you need at least Secret to be award the MOS

I found out today (which I should have known) I need to get a waiver for a DUI 8 years ago. Will this automatically disqualify me for a security clearance?

No. As long as you’re honest with it, and have documents proving the time it happened and you’ve gotten your stuff together, you shouldn’t have an issue. IF there is more to it and you don’t disclose it, loosing your clearance will be the least of your issues. I’ve seen NCOs with DUIs make it just fine as long as they told the truth fully. That is rare being normally that is an instant career ender.
