What are the strengths and weaknesses of our Constitution?

It created 3 branches of government. It seemingly is not talked about much in getting back to the right place. I think the Preamble is the strongest part of it. You could base a whole society, even your family off of it.

The biggest weakness is it doesn't actually constrain the government very well.
The Enumerated powers are merely a guide because one of them says "necessary and proper" and the preamble contains the phrase "promote the general welfare".
