Had surgery recently. My husband, works away almost as much as he did in the Navy. But he is here taking care of me, vehicle repairs, house repairs, meals and a bunch more. Today he brought me roses for my room. That's special, and so was the diabetic cherry pie. But nothing says love like a man that doesn't like cats, but will bath one while the wife is down. What do you do to show the love?

Not married and can't speak for my BF, but I know for me, it's the little things he does that make me know I'm loved. Something as simple as replacing the trash can liner when I'm at work and he's at the house....

Funny that you don't find about some of these things for years. Our kids are grown up but my wife told me a few years ago that she though me taking the boys out for breakfast at the bowling alley every Saturday so she could sleep in was really appreciated. Also she mentions it feels like home whenever I have the smoker oven fired up taking its time to put Sunday dinner on the table. So now that we're retired, I do my breakfast early alone but still fire up the smoke so it wafts around enough to keep normal going.
