As many have already so articulately commented, I am frustrated by this outcome. I agree with those who have commented that regardless of our actions we would end up right where we are at this point. There just hasn’t been a good solution for an exit strategy.

There are some mixed feelings about the Tali-heads taking over the regime in Afghanistan. Personally, I’m doing alright with it. Yes, I lost brothers over there. I’ve seen families crying over the loss of their loved ones. It’s not an easy pill to swallow. They did exactly what they planned on doing since 2001, run and hide, and wait for the prime opportunity to unclench their butts and show their faces. If we can get all American personnel out of there safely, then that’s a good plan. We should never go back to that country for anything. There is not one important item we use from them. Sanction any and all funds we may or may not have been sending them and leave them to their own devices. It’s done, we have their memories of our fallen comrades. Those men and women will live forever in our hearts and stories.

JB did the right thing, meaning President Biden. It was long ago time for everyone to come home, America need to start taking care of their own, we can't continue to "Red Cross" for everyone, how about we start red-crossing in our own back-yard, let's protect our own now! Stop having a financial interest in other people"s countries. Enough is Enough! Focus now on the safety of America. And for those who feel like commenting on me saying JB! he's my home boy! Save the drama for your own momma!

As the wife of an Iraqi veteran, I am appalled at the lack of leadership and the miscalculation that may lead to mass casualties. 1. Why were the embassy and the visa holders not evacuated sooner? 2. Why are they sending in more troops when the goal is mass evacuations? This seems like a suicide mission to me. Reminds me of Benghazi and Clinton laughing about how few deaths there were; they were AVOIDABLE deaths! Biden has informed the media (and the Taliban) that all of the diplomats and Afghan helpers are held up at the airport. Why wouldn’t the Taliban take advantage of this information and claim victory over the US with a mass bombings? Let’s just give them our playbook. SMH. I agree with the withdrawal, but not the lack of coordination!!!! I am horrified of what may happen in the next 48 hours.
