The best for me was Pascagoula, Mississippi. The worst was Norfolk, Virginia.

Fort Bliss especially if you're stationed in Far East Bliss with 1AD 3BCT. Had the WORST and the most toxic leadership ever. Our BN was known for suicidal and sharp related incidents. The most fun was Camp Walker!!! Downtown was an easy 10 min cab ride away and everyone was so chill on and off base!!

How an assignment fits for you varies based on so many things...unit, chain of command, personal life, what's going on in your career, your family, your life. In retrospect, the places that sucked the most sucked because at that stage, I kind of sucked. Best places were where I found the groove and got my head on straight. And, that turned places I hated into places I loved.
