We had to stay in a motel. Across the street was a Turkish Army Post. A spotlight was shining on us all night so the Turkish Army Guards can watch the motel. One day people throw rocks at us, mostly kids. It was TDY but we had to be air lifted earlier than expected. Some bad epidemic virus was within the population. We were near Syria, Iraq and Iran. I was glad to see Adana, Turkey again.
