1SG (Join to see) - 1SG, the ones that cared more about mission than formality did... And Gasp..... we used to not shave till mid day or at all when in a three day hide LP/OP/Ambush.

You forgot that the only Combat Patch allowed was CAV.

SSG (Join to see) - How did I forget? I wore my 7TH ID patch for almost 8 years, others wore the 10th MTN patch, 101st, Ranger Scroll, and others. The only time they pushed CAV Sandwich was in formations like homecoming or on the parade field.

I remember... My 3 COSCOM Path was under need the CAV.
