What are your thoughts on "rolling sleeves"? Camo in or out?

I say camo in since that's how the Marines roll their sleeves. I like being able to see that perfect flat sleeve fold. Makes you look extra sharp. Using the picture as an example, I can't even see the roll of the guy on the left, he could have just cut his sleeves off and made a tshirt.

Sleeves down or you're going to see all the young guys running back to the gym just to do arm curls. I know it's hot but your skin does like the cover the sleeves provide, and I'm really not a fan of how tight it is around the bicep and some guys had to tailor their sleeves to fit. Also we loose function of the pockets on the upper bicep area when up either way.

Camo Out!!!

I've always preferred the camo out (back when we wore BDUs). Looks neater.

I say we do away with all of the "high speed" fashionista stuff and go back to the OD green with the slanted pockets and roll the sleeves rolled smartly the way a sensible person would. Let SEALS, SF, PJ and all those other "Operator" types wear whatever works best for their mission.

Make this the ground field/working uniform for all services, differentiated by the service tape and the Marines having the "eight point" cover with the EGA on it. Let the Navy wear the eight point without EGA like we've always done because A) We're not Soldiers, and B) Everyone knows, no EGA...no Oo-Rah.

Ships are floating garrisons...Everyone seems to like the blue coveralls, but make 'em out of fire retardant material (don't they these days?) and working khaki for Chiefs/Officers, Denim and Blue for the Blue Shirts as alternative for bridge / topside watch.

For the love of Pete, bring back a cotton, smart looking, summer service dress in Khaki for the Navy E7 and Above...no "CNT" bags, no 1990's-esque "SeaQuest" uniforms...the good old SDK in cotton drill with the belt.

Just make a damn short sleeve shirt for hot weather garrison wear. Model it like Chachi's on Happy Days.

Makes no difference to me really since I don't have worry about it. I do think that camo out looks better through. The sleeve rolling with the current uniform does look kind of silly though given the sleeve pocket location.

Old school! In!

I preferred camo in more because as a typically coordinated engineer, it was easier to roll the sleeves up on the outside. Besides you could blow your nose on it and it'd still look good when you unrolled it. Seriously, out in the badlands, water was too scarce to waste it on laundry except for skivvies and feet. I do respect the "purist dinosaurs" out there though.
