Its a known fact that criminals do not follow the law....they are criminals. Therefor, passing more stringent gun laws might end up causing more victims by taking guns out of the hands (or making them scared to arm themselves) of law abiding citizens. The fix has to start in the home, a stable home to raise children is the foundation of where the morals and values are taught. When we have a degenerated value system due to broken families of course it will lead to more severe problems in and around the communities across our country - the families have to want to fix it internally to be a meaningful, long term fix.

It's NOT a gun problem, it's a GANG problem. Politicians dont want to deal with reality because they are afraid of people who use race as an excuse. So until someone grows huevos, the problem will continue. Pass more laws to restrict law abiding citizens, but if the leadership dont address the lack of jobs, and how kids are being raised, nothing is going to improve.
