Space Force released a prototype of their dress uniforms. I don't 100% hate the jacket, it's certainly unique, but the trousers are terrible. This is really just for fun and get get some general, community feedback.

Jacket: 6.5/10
Pants: .5/10

Overall: NO GO

If they actually had to press / starch with a seam in the trousers I could see it being a go. Jacket reminds me of the jackets I see in SciFi military uniforms (Star Citizen UEE Navy for example is very similar)

The pants look like an afterthought that were just thrown together. And they both look like they are two sizes to big.

Personally the jacket is okay, I'll give it a 7. The pants don't match at all. I was hoping more of a futuristic look. Something more like this. The buttons I don't like the buttons.

I guess if you're a bellhop on the space shuttle the coat is cool.

SFC (Join to see) they already took alot from star trek with certain things might as well copy some of the uniforms as well.

Well....from my perspective, the red Star Trek uniforms in the picture above are a DEFINITE improvement from the prototypes presented at the beginning of this thread. And the red Star Trek uni's. contain all the symbology that I've seen other people discussing, and asking for. So, again, a definite improvement.

Two honest suggestions:
1. Burn the entire thing and stick with what the Air Force has - maybe with a slightly darker color.
2. Burn the entire thing and go with the AFA's parade uniforms.

Honestly, getting rid of Space Force entirely would do wonders for rectifying the uniform....

Russia and China have already been militarizing outer space now for about the last 2 to 5 years. ....China especially. And it's widely suspected that Russia has hardware up there dating back to the Cold War.

I believe that's the "divide it by zero" approach.

Disband the entire thing and send everyone back to their respective services and never do this again. That will take care of those hideous clown suits they call uniforms. Don't know why #45 tried to emulate his mentor. Even the Russian Spaces Forces didn't last long as an independent service. It was reorganized twice and finally became a sub-branch to the Russian Aerospace Forces. Let it go!!

NASA, folks. 45 Spanky Boy is just promoting his sassybrat ego like the Caligula he is. This whole farce is an Orwellian piece of BS. My VA doesn't have a flag of this farce there. Since WHEN can Benedict Dotard be relied on to be truthful, he sure doesn't respect US, calls us 'weak' and 'losers'.

First, I want to know why a "Space Force" is needed and then, with regard to the uniforms, they are too treckie.

As I've said several times now: Science fiction is their stated inspiration as the "hi IQ people" who they're trying to gain the interest of are often huge fans of science fiction. Also: Russia and China have already been militarizing outer space now for about the last 2 to 5 years. ....China especially. And it's widely suspected that Russia has hardware up there dating back to the Cold War.

My first question: why did they pick models that look so smug?

My next question is: have they never heard of tailoring the trousers?

Looks ridiculous. Even the color of both the jacket and trousers just seems wrong.
