What can be done to improve the Space Force dress uniforms? What do you think of them?

Space Force released a prototype of their dress uniforms. I don't 100% hate the jacket, it's certainly unique, but the trousers are terrible. This is really just for fun and get get some general, community feedback.
Jacket: 6.5/10

The jacket looks too Hollywood and the pants is a total No Go. The jacket could use a Breast Pocket as well as bottom pockets. The collar could be improved on as well. The pants should be a more designer fit and not looking like a Flour Sack like it does on the Female.

Looks like they're competing with Star Trek. I guess what is shown is the dress uniform? It looks ridiculous and bland. There's no personality to that uniform.

I wouldn't mind and would wear the uniform proudly, as I'm getting paid to do so and I really doubt the current uniform design hurts one's rapport at all. Shrugs, I'll wear Dickies proudly.
However, keeping within perspective, I would be more concerned about Captain James T. Kirk or Captain Picard suing the Space Force for Copy Right infringement, unless the designers already have permission.

As I've said several times now: Science fiction is their stated inspiration as the "hi IQ people" who they're trying to gain the interest of are often huge fans of science fiction.

What can be done? Dissolve Space Force and return them to the USAF. If all the SF has to worry about is their uniforms, then their job is not that important, This whole Star Trek stuff is hard to swallw for an old Leatherneck.

I'm not sure I believe that the "Space Force" is really a branch of the military, but maybe because I am old and because we have yet to routinely have any "forces" in space. So far we seem to be ceding this domain to the Chinese.
