What can be done to improve the Space Force dress uniforms? What do you think of them?

Warren County, NC HS got one of the first 10 Space Force JROTC units. On TV, they had a COL and MSGT that said they were Space Force wearing standard blue AF uniforms. The cadet had blue regular uniforms with a Space Force JROTC patch on the left shoulder. Promotions must be fast in USSF to have a COL and MSG already. I figured maybe some LTs and maybe E-5s.

JROTC is staffed by retirees. My guess is that the Col. and MSgt were space-oriented in their careers and volunteered to switch uniforms for the sake of the program.

Get rid of the entire stupid concept, pull Space back into the USAF and admit that billions were wasted on a political stunt?

Folks, people aren’t taking Space Force seriously anyway. This uniform pours gas on that fire. It didn’t even look good on “Star Trek”. Hire a new tailor, and a good marketing company.

Scrap it and start over. This uniform (costume) looks like it belongs on a sound stage on a Star Wars set. I am sure the Uniform Office for the Space Force could do better!

Maybe instead of ribbons and/or medals on the breast, a “communicator” could be worn. Anyone inquiring could just speak into it and in return, all earned awards, designators, and qualifications could be verbalized back from the device.

I was expecting different colors for different MOS/fields.
Yes, like Star Trek.
