What can you share about the history of RED HORSE?

I'm doing a research paper for a comp 2 class on the history of RED HORSE then focusing in on the 200th Red Horse. If anyone has information about it I would be great full. I am doing other research as well on my own but it would be nice to hear from individuals who belonged to RED HORSE I am able to use personal interviews as a source as well. Any help would be accepted with great appreciation.

SSgt (Join to see) Just a personnel story.... In Dec 1992, I was part of the combat assault landing at Mogadishu airport. So, I landed, gun trucks at the ready, with the 10th Mountain Division Assault CP (Command Post - 1st elements of 10th Mountain on the ground - 1st conventional Army units on the ground) several days after the MEF and SEALs made their assault landing while covered by TV cameras & lights... When we got off the Aircraft we found there was already an Army Transportation Control on the ground, and an Air Force unit known as Red Horse had just repaired/made the airfield C141 and C5 capable again... So much for being the tip of the spear...
