I once told a Lieutenant colonel one of his Major’s “couldn’t do less work if she was in a $&@!ing Coma”. My point was made but it did not go over to well.

Apparently, referring to something or someone as an "unsuccessful abortion" can really tick some people off, and the use of "Hooah!!" has them all confused.

I said "use the head" and my co-workers thought I was going to "enjoy" myself in the restroom. I had to go on Google to show them what I meant before having EEO talk to me hahahaha.

Hell, I got called into my Captain's office (Police) for saying, in front of him and several investigators, that we were only doing this {absolutely stupid mundane task} because [he] had a case of chapped ass.

This wasn't as a civilian but my mother got very upset when I'd call my young nephews "Devil". I tried telling her that it was a term of endearment among Marines, but she wasn't buying it.
