Lots out there that can go either way. One thing I have noticed is that when using the phonemic alphabet, there are some that stand out and ID a vet, such as zooloo, and Golf, Bravo... If you ask, you find out they are usually vets. Or that Dad / Mom was. Leg (now spit) has got to be Army Airborne. True infantry comes from the sky. The rest of 'ya get trucked in. And I didn't hear REMF used toward other branches, as it was toward the PAC personel (pukes)

"Rah" or "Yut": both phrases are commonly used as greetings, farewells, and sleepy, unmotivated acknowledgements in Marinespeak.

Just a side note (has nothing to do with answering the question, sorry); Chaplain Swartz and the Air Force Chaplain's Assistant both look familiar. I could be wrong, but I think I've met them somewhere...I was a Chaplain's Assistant for over 20 years.
