I'm hearing/reading people saying "I'm old school, therefore..." So out of curiosity's sake, where is that ever-moving line?

If you believe accomplishing the mission is the most important duty, and that all other tasks such as performance reports and ancillary (classroom/CBT/etc.) training siphon far too much valuable training time.

I would say if you had C-Rations for dinner or any other meal, then you ARE old-school. I never did eat them, but i saw them. But i did everything MAJ Roberts (Bob) Petrarca mentioned.

Okay my turn:

Buck slips, every senior staff officer in BN HQs had their own colored felt pen, charts and darts gunnery, OD Green fatigues, real paper property books, 4 card stock record keeping system, 2406, shotgun envelopes, typewriters in the field, microfiche, TA1s, “This line is insecure...”
