CPT Patrick Boling, A M-38 jeep w/ trailer that we used to get river water up our hill in Korea. We used the water for GI'ing our wooden tent floor w/ Brown GI Soap and GI Brushes with Brown Bristles. Needless to say, not much water remained in the trailer after jouncing up the hill!
Everyone in our squad tent caught a cold that night.
The end result was that our tent floor had WHITE pine boards.
I will work on finding the photo.

CSM, did it look anything like this? I was curious so I looked around on the web. It kind of reminds me of the vehicles in M*A*S*H, the t.v. sitcom about the Korean Conflict.

LTC (Join to see), a nice round canopy was always my preferred mode of transportation! Ironically, I rarely jumped with Corcorans as I didn't want to trash a nice spit shine. I usually jumped with jungle boots or issue boots.

Sir, you just have to slip toward the parachute turn in point. Or walk on your hands.

My next assignment is not a jump billet. I may find a local DZCO and play on the occasional weekend though. Now here is the rub, if I get picked up for E8 next month then they will send me to another base than where I am currently forecast. If I go where I think they will send me, then I may actually pick a J-code back up. Only the 5 March E8 release date will tell. Prayers are welcome :-)

There is a good chance that was my last jumping job in my career. But who knows, I could get lucky.

I've flown a B-25 Mitchell, F-16, T-38, T-6 Texan and Texan II. Solo'd a single engine Da-20. Also had the chance to ride around and shoot weapons off of an Army Stryker.

Yes, I was very lucky! They left me sit in the right seat and make a few turns...the CAF unit had been working on it and gave free rides to my father's unit because there was a lineage connection. It costs a lot to keep those planes flying so I have definitely done my best to give back to their squadron.

Now THAT'S what I call "close aboard", CPO (Join to see)! I assume that's a Mk 75 forward on your cutter? I'd have that sucker spun up, locked and loaded!
Too close for a Mk48 means too close for me!!!!

88M for 12 years now and I promise... The HET is not "88M heaven"... 3 deployments in HET companies, the services, the overall operator responsibility..... Aged what I would do to get stuck in the mysterious 915 unit I keep hearing about but have never seen.
