Thats your criteria for reclassing? Where they do AIT at? Do you have a security clearance?

My wife is currently active duty and she’s getting stationed in Fort Gordon. I’m looking for an Mos in the technical side like 25B Since I’m going for school for information technology. I wouldn’t mind doing Ait where we are currently station at . I’m in the Army Reserves and I don’t have a security clearance . I know I’m going to need one for almost every mos in Fort Gordon. I should have a problem obtaining one .

SPC (Join to see) i would follow what SGT Eric Davis said: figure out what mos's are short at your current unit.

I know you are looking to reclass but you are a PFC and that probably mean you have more than a years in the military and less than 2 years of service. Before you try to reclass you need to see what your unit is short or the unit you want transfer is short cause you don’t have enough time in serive to be trying to reclass unless it’s a shortage in another mos!
Also that’s not your duty station is her duty stay you will just be living there unless your reserve unit is on base!
