What do you miss that surprises you?

Sometimes when people ask me what I miss about being in the Army, I think about my Afghan brothers. I wonder how they're doing.

Still in but in a hospital setting; miss the camaraderie of being in a line unit that had a purpose and drive. Tough but fun times; dealt with some of the top minds that the Army had at the time.
