I think a nice long life of sponge baths as his paralyzed body atrophies away is a far more fitting punishment. He deserves to die a long, slow death, forgotten by everyone. He should go out in a wimper, not as a martyr.

Yes, I guess there would be justice in being trapped in that chair. One day out of the year, I would maybe haul his wheel-chair bound ass somewhere random, where from afar, he would be forced to watch the American people going about enjoying the blessings of American freedom. He would not get to participate; he would not get to have contact with anyone other than his care attendant and guards. But for one day a year, he would get a reminder that what he betrayed and longed to destroy has persevered and survived him and his brand of hatred.

I believe the apache had the correct way of dealing with him, bury him up to his chin and rub him down with honey and let the fire ants feast. He understands "an eye for an eye", I just hope my God will forgive me.
