What do you think about the Army officers getting "pink slips" while in Afghanistan?

How do you think this affects morale and mission accomplishment? Do you think it even has an impact? Is it a fair assessment to say that the current WH administration is hostile towards the military in general?
It seems to me that a certain person who is determined to undermine the work of our founding fathers, neither respects the military nor has any comprehension of its importance.

Downsizing the force via troops in combat zones?
I just came across this article and found it interesting. I would think that they would stray away from those that are deployed so as to not disrupt combat operations. What are your thoughts?
