The problem here is that he seems he honesly get to the truth. He berates corruption and he quits after his term. Is that a bad or good thing?

Some respond here as though it's all over. No, I believe we're just seeing the lull before the real storm. Trey Gowdy is a helluva prosecutor. He isn't running a political circle jerk like all the other committees that "investigated" Benghazi. He's conducting a real investigation. Like all criminal investigations it moves methodically. There are lapses while courts decide evidentiary issues and I believe we are in one such at the moment.

I concur with CPT Jack Durish that Trey Gowdy "is a helluva prosecutor."
I think he exercised principle by leaving Congress because of what he has been forced to see in the halls of power in Washington, DC. Standing on principle is an honorable thing to do. I hope he will run again when the USA has a more honest and forthright administration which will not be led by Hillary Rodham Clinton wife of impeached former POTUS William Jefferson Clinton.

I'd love to see him as the next Attorney General. Or even make a run for the WH in 2020.

Considering some of his stunts and his Methodology, I wonder as a Prosecutor how many Innocent people he has bullied into conviction. I view the man very poorly.
