What do you think is the percentage of Veterans who deal with financial hardships once they separate from the service?

I agree with you, to an extent. Things happen, even if you are prepared you cannot always be 100% prepared for everything. Sadly, many do not bother to prepare much, if at all.

I hear of this a lot, I ask coworkers who are separating what they're going to do afterwards, many say "I don't know", or have a game plan which doesn't work out.

I'm with you on that, get an education while you're in and there are more opportunity when you get out.

I'd probably agree 50% or greater. There's a big difference once you are out and a lot of those benefits you took for granted are no longer there and you have to work harder to get back to where you were. I know it took me almost 7 to 10 years to start making the kind of income I had before I retired. Then you add in inflation and the cost of living and you still have to keep working and fighting to get there.
