What do you think of the new movie "Snowden"?

Well it's an Oliver Stone movie, so i would expect nothing less.

Don't plan on wasting my money on a movie that I have no interest in the events of the person it is about.

Fuck Snowden, Sarge. That is all.

Hmmm let me think a Civilian doing my Old Job grows a Conscience and then starts handing stuff over to the Media, Like Mr Horse in Ren and Stimpy said "I don't like it, No I don't like it". Yeah he is just the latest in a line of Jackasses that doesn't like some of what we do an rather than address it in a correct manner does something stupid and horrible like this. His Name is Right Up there with the Cambridge Five, Chris Boyce and Chelsea/Bradley Manning.

It's a bullshit propaganda piece. That asshole deserves to be in prison for violating the rules governing the handling, use, and release of classified material. As a matter of fact, he and Hillary should be exchanging letters from prison right now.

Don't have any plans to watch it.

I think he a cowardly pos! I worked with him in Hawaii and he destroyed two peoples lives and did not care! He will be found one day face down in the Moscow river when he is no longer useful to Comrade Putin.

This is why I just don't pay attention to movies.

I'm on the fence with it.

As Stone movies go this one will no doubt follow the same pattern. Idealistic young man soon comes to believe that his government is inherently evil, and that he must take direct, unilateral action, to bring about change. I've not seen the film so this is of course a guess. And my guess is that Snowden was manipulated, and quite easily so, by persons with their own nefarious agendas. This movie will portray him as a truth seeker, with only the best intentions, but the bigger picture of the negative effect of his actions will be twisted, or wholly ignored. It will receive awards, no doubt hailed as a great work of conscience. But at the end of the day it's a movie, of no real significance.
