What do you think our country will be like in 4 years if Trump gets elected vs the Democrat or vise versa?

I just want to find out what life could be like without a career politician in charge.

I hear you there SPC Gilles. That is a very sour point with me. That career needs to be done away with. They need term limits.

But we did get to see it, if your are old enough, Reagan went through the same stuff Trump is going through (alabi less intense) As I point out to people here at work, the Republicans (or whoever was considered the "Right" at the time) Have never had all 3 slots, so we have yet to actually see what a Right run country looks like. However there have been multiple times that the Dems (or whatever was the left at the time) have run this country. and look where that has gotten us. (If you happen to be one of those who only listen to the "Catch phrase" politics, the short form is that Detroit used to be a shinning symbol of America, both during and before WW2. There has been no one but Democrats of one strip or another in the running of that city for more than 70 years, and now look at it.)

If Trump wins sorta of a status quo I think. Nothing much worse than now. If Clinton wins, more surveillance state, more Wall Street corruption, more ill-advised military deployments and much death, a lot of death. More of the whole planet being shaken to pieces for the sake of the Military Industrial Complex.

Capt Walter Miller Walt I don't know if you served in Afghanistan, but there are many getting killed everyday by Afghan fighters. A lot more than this child. Women are raped, sons and daughters are killed by the dozens because their family will not support ISIS (Or what ever we are calling them this week). War is not pleasant and people die. When a bomb maker, who has killed 100s, is in a house with his family and he is hiding with his family, then everybody is going to die to stop him. When we can figure out how to all get along then babies will not die by the hands of either.

Capt Walter Miller - It is beyond me why you would post such a tasteless photo. If you are insinuating that we as the United States are guilty of all deaths in Afghanistan or elsewhere, you should hang up your uniform.

SFC Richard Giles I frimly believe that, if Hillary Clinton is elected, our country will continue its current death spiral. On the other hand, I think that Trump will right the ship and get our country back to where it needs to be.

sir you hit it, all trump wants is fare trade, enlarge and strenthen the us economy, no longer provide support to countries that can and should have paid support for thier freedoms, at the expense of soldiers, we need a leader who can get people working not sitting on their ass collecting welfare, we need a leader who can say it is no longer acceptable to descrated the flag of this country, a leader who can say if you want to be here then follow our laws, a leader to motivate the people to become more and to join together and let history lay where its at as history, until the last month not a trump fan but with police fighting on the streets just to stay alive, and the increasing race debate, the fbi crime stats the dems dropped the ball big time, i now i was register dem and ashamed

MSgt. Very well said indeed. All we need to do now is get him in office. Hillary scares me. You can't trust her and she is power mad.
