What does the word courage mean to you?

To do the right thing no matter how visible or popular to others.
Be the shadow of a leader for others to emulate, and make the difference!

In spite of all of the unknowns, dangers, or sacrifices, you take on the task with every intention to see it through to the very end.

Acting upon something that you fear. Taking that fear and putting it aside to get the job done!!!

Facing your fears.

Courage is doing something that scares you but helps others. It takes courage for a solid to enlist in the military during a time of war. It takes courage to put your brothers and sisters in arms before yourself. Courage is doing what you can knowing it's a scary situation.

Courage means doing what's right even if it terrifies you.

Courage is never comparing yourself to others.

The word courage to me means that you are standing up and taking responsibility to stand firm for something, ,someone whole heartily and not back down from what we think is impossible.

To me, the word COURAGE means to advance toward a goal no matter the obstacles in your pathway and despite the negative comments or actions of others.

Having the strength of will to do the task that needs to be done, no matter how scared. Also, the ability to hold fast to the Oath that everyone takes in Service to this Country, and disobey any Unlawful Order given by anyone, no matter thier Rank or Position.
