Being afraid, really afraid to do something but somehow you manage to do it, no matter the cost.

Courage to me means that no matter how dangerous or scary a situation might present you pull up your boot straps and attack the situation the way you were trained to and to the very best of your ability.

I have seen so many examples of "courage". Having spent 17 years working as a surgical technician/surgical assistant, having gone through cancer and talking with other cancer patients, and having witnessed so many trudge through things many have not I can say it simple. Courage is being able to make yourself get up and work through what can be the worst of times and convince yourself that you will get through it all.

I just opened my email to discover I was awarded a $100 gift card. Thank you for those who felt I was a deserving person. I am grateful and it will be put to good use. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!

Courage is standing up for what you know is right even when you are scared to death.

Courage is not the absence of fear but that something else is more important than fear and you are willing to do it.
