Courage is the willingness to go anywhere and do any job assigned. In my case, I led a platoon of Montagnards in Laos. Americans operating in Laos, Cambodia, and North Vietnam carried no identification cards, no dog tags, and no patches that would identify us as Americans. If killed or captured we had no illusions that we would ever return to America.
