What does the word integrity mean to you?

I do a lot of reading, crossword puzzles and sudoku. I prefer to do my own cooking. I walk often and usually do my shopping as a part my exercise routine. I converse with family, friends and neighbors daily.

Being true to yourself

Good leadership requires honest answers to questions. Unreliable answers undermine the decision making process. Making decisions based on bad information is a disaster in the making. Giving the righteous answer no matter how it might make you look is called integrity... The truth will prevail and in the aftermath integrity will shine through.

To hold to a complete set of values, a code of honour with both feet firmly on the ground in the sound belief that recognition of all that is right is paramount to my very existence. These are the standards to which I steer my way through my life, a standard of which, for me, came out an accident at the age of seven years, ten months, during which I saw too many faces that I knew, cannot help me, admitted to hospital, I saw a man, a doctor, whom I intuitively knew, here is my help.

This experience left me with an overwhelming desire to know how to help people whenever I come across accidents and injuries. This event was a life-changing moment, leading me to become a highly qualified RN, on two continents. But importantly, it endorsed the attributes I enumerated above. God bless America and my native England, both of which have held mutual recognition of, to quote Alexandre Dumas, "All for one, and one for all."

Being a man of your word. If you say you are going to do something, then do it.

Integrity is doing the right thing even when it's hard and no one else cares

To me it's deeply ingrained trait to have, Integrity is also the purest form of honesty an individual can muster.
