Sacrifice means to me Willing to give up and or Help anywhere as needed, if you are called upon. This could be if you are in the Military.example. It happened to me. I was due to take leave when I was in the Military and my Family and I were going to Tennessee. Another Veteran in my section also put in for leave and I did not know this. No one told us, until we were told only one of us could go, and he told me to go as I had a Family. I said ok. That afternoon I found out this might be the last time his brother sees him. He was sick but not dying. I then went to him and said. We decided to change our vacation to September. I felt so good. The word has a Deep meaning.

Sacrifice to me is giving up material things so that others may benefit from them or working for free to benefit others.

Sacrifice - giving of oneself or talent or time or treasure so that someone else might not have to go without. Sometimes all of the above.
