What does the word sacrifice mean to you?

Be ready in mind and body, To answer the call to defend freedom, at the cost of personal desires.

To put the needs, goals or best interests of another or the team ahead of yours.

To give all that you have for others when it is not required.

Sacrifice to me means being willing to not only put ones own life on the line; but also putting ones family through the turmoil of that possibility for undetermined periods of time, in the name of God, Duty, Country and family.

It means to me -I must do everything within me to provide safety to those who cannot or will not provide it for themselves, without prejudice or judgement.

Sacrifice means giving of your time, your treasure, yourself in order to provide for the greater good.

Sacrifice is being humble in every situation; knowing that you won’t always get what you want, but you’ll get what you need - my Rolling Stones fans out there will know what I’m talking about

Sacrifice doesn't have to mean death. Sacrifice is giving your life for a person or a cause. Writing the check which includes giving all you have up to your life.

Giving away that which you desire for yourself.

Giving of one time and self for a greater good.
