It's no secret that the military loves to send us all over the world. From Europe to Asia to the Middle East and beyond, we have all been able to travel to some interesting locations in our time with our respective branches.

Today. while uploading information to my Kayak account for some upcoming travel, I paused for a minute to look at the map that points out all the places I visited in the past year. It's been a crazy year, traveling to some of these places for personal travel, like South Beach and others to help raise awareness for issues impacting Veterans across this nation.

So RallyPoint, the question is simple, what does your travel map look like? Have you found yourself traveling more now that you are out of the military or do you travel more? Is there a certain place that holds special meaning to you that you travel to more than others?

I hate to have to go the 10 miles or so to go shopping. Over 40 years travelling around the globe, including most of our vaunted USA and I'm done, with the possible exception of my Grandsons asking me to go on vacation with them. They usually win.

This is was the type of comment I was thinking I would get and there's nothing wrong with! Like you said, after years of traveling around the globe, I think we are all a little sick of traveling. And can't blame you for caving into the grandson, I know my parents will travel out of their way to visit my two children.

Mine has some very nice dots all over East Asia, up and down the coasts of the US, and in the Gulf. Pretty empy elsewhere. Never been to South America, or Africa and only been to a couple random ports in Europe on the way home from deployments.

California is amazing. I traveled out to San Fran to visit my best friend. He and I were stationed in Arizona together and deployed in 2006. He turned 40 this year and I flew out to surprise him. Was a great trip but just a long flight!! LOL

Mine got stuck on the far side of the Pacific. 1963-67 in either Vietnam of Korea. Other than that the Cuban Crises at Ft Bragg, and a Recruiting Tour in New Jersey. Over 20 years in Police Work in Pa and California. It's been fun
