We live in a world where 1 thing or another offends somebody. These days it's a statue, a person's name (ESPN) or a person's choice in food. Think about it

I'm not immune to being offended but I think my skin is tougher than most. One thing in particular that doesn't offend is someone with opposing views to my own. You know, it's actually ok that we don't agree on every single thing. How could we? I do however require that the discussion we have about whatever topic it is remain civil. If you can't do that I'll bow out and let you just be mad by yourself.

I cannot lie, I am offended and appalled by a slew of things. I am a grow @** man though so I keep it all in check. The majority of what offends folks today I just find silly. If you want to be offended by something, make it real. Like... the way corporations are running and ruining our government and turning the lower classes against each other.

At my age, very little offends me to the point of violence or defriending. I've been a woman in a "man's" job most of my working life, so I could get offended and make a stink or buckle down and do the job better than the idjits trying to offend me.

I pick the hills I want to die on. There aren't many of those. I am deeply offended by people who spout opinion as fact, but until their opinion as fact threatens my family, friends, or livelihood I will probably limit myself to a few comments of polite dialogue.
