perhaps initially there my be diffidence, but we are sure this is consequential, that is my opinion, by our acting on a multidomain field , a field where there is not necessity to have different camouflage patterns but one is omogeinizing us on a only Army and making visible our ability to act on air, sea, ground, like constituted by or immerged on. One camouflage patern enhance such our ability and make visible we are warrior able to fight, when required, all domains as members of all branch Army is divided on.

It is crazy to me that after 10 years and all that money....we are now back to a faded BDU pattern. I am not complaining though, happy to be back in green.

Funny thing about this is that Multicam has been around since 2001. Roughly 4 years before UCP came about.

Yeah, the new pattern looks like a washed out, faded BDU....although the smaller elements in Scorpion works better in desert and grassy terrain.

Never going to happen the Marines and Navy have their own, Navy does not need the same pattern as the Army as they are on the water. The Army does not want the Navy's pattern, the Marines have the pattern they are happy with why do you care. Every one is happy.

I care because it cost money and wastes a lot of valued time and effort that could be put into better use.

Unless you are ready to go to Marine Corp boot camp and MCT I don't see it changing those decisions are made by the officers back in the pentagon and if they where not doing that they would be counting pens and pencils or golfing. That's the rear with the gear. Just worry about training for your next deployment. Get you mind zeroed in on that train your me for the mission and every thing else will be fine.

They are still pushing for it. Marines no longer wear desert cammies Navy is transitioning to our woodland cammies and the Army is phasing out the ACU. Slowly but surely we will get to one pattern and then be one large branch

The Marines will never be any thing but Marines unless every one else want to go to our boot camp and MCT. Learn to run 3 miles and do 20 dead hang pull ups, and crunch sit ups, your dreaming. If all the other branches want to be Marines I am sure we can accommodate and make our boot camps bigger. You will have a lot of drop outs. Its not easy. The whole armed forces will be allot tougher. So that might be a great Idea.

Navy needs to be left the way it is or given solid blue cammies. I only worry about the side pockets on their legs our used to get torn on the ship hatches.
