What fictional technology would you wish to see developed and implemented in the military? Why?

I will go ahead and state my one idea even though I'm sure that many people on RP will not know what I am talking about. I would fight to reenlist if the military developed gundams. Furthermore, I would want one equipped with the M242 Bushmaster 25mm chain gun that the M3A3 has.

Feeling ornery, so I apologize for my nasty tone in advance.

I would love a device that sealed someone's mouth shut for one hour, the instant they started a BS lying excuse, or offered uninformed, poorly formulated, off the cuff opinions. Why...? Think of how much time we'd save.

I guess I'm banned from RP for an hour now. :)

Nanobots in the blood stream, battle armor integrated with the user, trans-humanism, BFGs, Nano-A and Nano-D, personal flight, all wavelength chameleon armor skin, multi-type ammo from a single weapon, and the list goes on for the basic "grunt".

Oh yea. I've been a tech head since the Apollo missions. I would have thought that by now we would have been well past Kevlar/Ceramic plated vests for combat! Where is our tactical HUD, air filtration systems, totally self sealing, powered battle armor? :)

And then we need the transport to get us around faster than trouble can rear its ugly head. Once it drops us off in the hot zone, it breaks into 4 or 6 autonomous flying gun platforms, semi-AI controlled of course.
