Alan K. - I agree, but not entirely sure that's possible. Yes now any GMO modified item must be labeled, but what about things modified decades ago before GMOs became a thing? Tomatoes a good example, unless you consume heirloom tomatoes you're probably eating one that has been modified, same for corn and many other vegetables.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - It is possible in my garden. People need to get back to growing their own where possible.

Alan K. - Won't argue that, had a great garden when stationed in your neck of the woods. But even growing your own, chances are those seeds or young plants came from stock that has been modified somewhere along the line.

SGT (Join to see) - sorry, but the peanut butter thing seems to be an Asian thing in general.

I buy the avacados when they're green and keep them under the shade of the cupboard on the counter, but as they start to ripen if I didn't eat them yet I would put in the fridge to keep fresh.

Pickles obviously and most items that are pickled but most Americans would rather have them served chilled. Sticks of Butter is another, I leave them out for 1-2 weeks unrefrigerated and never got sick, butter spreads easier when at room temperature.
