I think he's made tremendous progress on Energy Independence, Climate Change and health care, tried his best on Iraq and Afghanistan and Guantanamo only was blocked by a recalcitrant GOP and failed miserably on Culture change in DC and Immigration Reform.

Immigration reform is my big issue (obviously with my profession of immigration attorney), and this is one case where he clearly was pandering for votes by talking the talk while walking the opposite walk.  Obama actually more than doubled the deportation rate of ANY previous administration and is derogatorily known among the immigration legal community as the "Deporter in Chief", with over 400,000 deportations per year and executive orders that were far less effective than those of Reagan and Bush 41 at keeping families together.

You seem to have overlooked most of the points I made, including that Jeh Johnson discounted the number you attributed to the Federal Authorities. His own words are in the source I noted. Still waiting on the metrics that prove the effectiveness of controlling the climate with our job killing agenda that has made Al Gore and all the friends of Obama quite wealthy using the mantra of environmentalism.

MCPO Roger Collins - Points? Just the way you point fingers shows you have a right-wing view and therefore believe what the right says and ignore what the left says.

Very common these days.

Look in the mirror. I countered your statements with facts and sources. It's easy to see how that could be confusing to one not used to that process. And yes I am a conservative and proud to support those that see what a mess you on the right created with your Kool aid drinking.

You are a conservative, and you supported your arguments with conservative statements. There are just as many liberal statements out there that say the opposite, which you and your fellow conservatives dismiss, just as liberals dismiss your conservative statements.

For instance, I don't accept Fox News as a viable source, and you likely don't accept MSNBC as a viable source.

Personally I'm a moderate (social liberal and fiscal conservative) and don't care much for either party. What I am vehemently against is an extremist of either wing getting the White House. Obama is quite a bit too far left for me.

Honestly my favorite recent candidate was the Mitt Romney of 2008, back when he was a social progressive and fiscal conservative. He was quite proud of his state's universal healthcare and was clear that abortion rights were a done deal that shouldn't be messed with. Sadly I could not vote for him in 2012 because he raced to the far right to out-conservative Rick Santorum, making him either a liar if he really was still moderate, or someone far too extreme right if he was telling the truth.

Ouch.....this is going to be one hell of a thread Tom!!!! I'm giving him a "B". I say this because I know and believe he meant well in most of his policies, and I cannot/will not say otherwise. He cannot get an "A" because of many of his decisions were questionable, and based either on ego or bad advise from his advisors. IMO there will never has or will be a president who could even hope to get an "A". They all have agendas that don't match up with a good portion of the population, they all have some kind of scandal, and the fact that folks are going to see them as puppets of their party will always taint them.

SSG Warren Swan - Obama moved too far to the left based on the advice he received from the progressive wing of his party and his White House advisors.. Maybe Hillary Clinton will pick up where Obama left off ???? Could happen???

Sgt Tom Cunnally - Can't argue with that, but even I don't want to see HIlary in office, so that kills that one. I honestly think any president would be better served if he/she took advisors from both sides of the party lines to give balance. Too much cronyism and "you owe me a favor" type stuff in the way it is now.

SSG Warren Swan - I know the Dems are laughing off Hillary's emails but not sure the entire country is laughing at this issue when they know what happened to Gen Petraeus for doing much less than her
Don't forget Hillary goes to Washington on Thurs to testify again about her role in Benghazi...

Sgt Tom Cunnally - I don't think all of them are, being there are a few who really don't care for her personally, and could care less if she made it into office of any kind. Petraeus got off easily, yet even for him, had that been the average Joe, rank, hopes and dreams would've been stripped of him, and Patraeus would've been that sucks but these are the regs, see you later.
She's going to be here, but IMO the pressure isn't on her; it's on the committee now, being that two republicans have come out and said what the whole "investigation" was for, and now Crowdy is in damage mode telling them to shut up. Hillary is going to seize on that like her husband did Monica, and run it into the ground...just like Bill did Monica.

Good list. There are always different ones I would have chosen, but it looks like you tried to stick to his campaign promises. On those, I would give a "D".
