I’m a 92Y going to reclass school for 11b. The packet for the class seems pretty intense. What happens if I fail my this course? Will I get discharged?

Don't sweat it, my good man.
You will get plenty of exercise there.
The Soldier skills portion doesn't include anything you might nogo except maybe land nav.
You'll be fine.
If you are sweating what happens if you fail, you aren't concentrating on succeeding.

I don't know if it's even possible to fail Infantry reclass.
If you do fail School as a reclass from active duty you will simply return do your previous MOS.
If you are a prior service re accession, then you will be given another MOS

If you fail 11B reclass then you will go into water purification 92W.......

You will not fail, the cadre want you to pass. Quit worrying about reclass to 11B. Most of it will center on weapons, tactics and field crafts. It is not like basic training!

Trust me when I say this, channel J (but less stabby) and you’ll be fine. You’ll learn everything you need for the basics while there. Listen to the platoon and you’ll learn what’s needed for the unit.

It is almost impossible to fail.... Do what you are told, pass your APFT, pass your rifle qual (if you even have to do that).

SPC (Join to see) Trust me, you will run PLENTY in order to get in shape for that. You should already be running a sub-16 2-mile, basically just have to run 70% for 5 miles instead of 80% for 2.
As a PFC, I assume you are on the younger side. You should be able to work your endurance up in a relatively rapid time.
Seriously, don't stress this. Your leadership WANTS you to pass, they will work hard to make sure you pass - as long as you are working just as hard.
Stay motivated, put in the effort, drink water. You'll be fine.

If you fail an event you will get counseled, if you have failed an event you will get a second chance to try it and hopefully pass. If you have 3 failed events overall before you get to re-try them then you will be dropped from the course but also if you fail the second attempt of any event you may have failed twice. As far as the infantry 11B reclass course itself best advise I can give anyone is, if you want to make sure you graduate, just make sure you are in shape, as in be ready to ruck 12 miles with a shit ton of weigh(and no, it's not only 45lbs in your ruck, it's way more), be abke to run 5 miles in less than 45 minutes, get good at land nav, familiarize yourself with the 11B HDTP and make sure you train for it so you can pass each event(it will kick your ass even if you are in shape). Everything else aside from that is not that bad. Good luck!
