You have six posts about problems you may encounter in Navy Boot Camp. It is ok to be nervous but do not let anxiety rule your life. Have the mindset that you will adapt and overcome all challenges. When do you leave for Boot Camp?

Adenovirus pill??? LOL..... Oh if only they gave your vaccines in pills. The only pill you'll get will be Motrin, or antibiotics if you get sick. Everything else is given through injection.

We had one guy from Puerto Rico who needed everything. They took an entire fistful of syringes and just stuck them in his arm at once, then had him turn around and did another four or five in that arm too. Guy couldn't feel his arms for like a week and got pretty sick.

So what if you can't? Every vaccine they give you is a shot... It's not like they're gonna squirt a vaccine into your mouth...

SPC Angela Burnham - Which just gets sprayed up your nose. No swallowing needed. If you try to swallow the mister, you're probably going to choke =)

They will dip it peanut butter, wait that is what I do with my stubborn Lab. It will be mind over matter. You will eventually realize you can take the pill and then it won't matter.

I have a hard time swallowing pills myself, even now. I told the Corpsmen, they tilted my head all the way back, put the pill at the very back of my mouth, and poured water in my mouth and the pill just fell down my throat. Easy day.
