I ship out in about 4 days. I keep hearing about the 1-1-1 what happens if you fail the running portion? I’ll be going to Fort Benning.

Last I knew you were sent thru a special program to get you up to snuff BEFORE you finally see your Basic Training Company. But that was years ago. So...it's either the same way now or you get sent to your Company and get PT'd to the point where you will have no problems passing the 1-1-1. Best Course of Action.....work your butt off in order to PASS the 1-1-1 before you get there.

The Fitness Training Unit in 30th AG is where you would end up for a few weeks until you can do the minimum push-ups, sit-ups and 1 mile run time to start BCT or OSUT.

Fun fact, I actually made that logo while stationed there, back when it was called PTRP. They had a contest for everyone to submit their designs, winner got a weekend pass to head out to Columbus. Only two of us submitted anything, so we both got to go out. Got swindled into buying a $1,000 laptop at the peachtree mall out there by a pretty girl at a kiosk. Wound up paying like 3K for it because I didn't read the fine print lol. Then went and saw "Taken" at the theater, went out to Buffalo Wild Wings, and settled down at a cheap Laquinta for the night. One of the best weekends of my life haha.
