Everyone has done something "fun" on a deployment. I've golfed (or hit golf balls) from Victory Palace in Baghdad. Gave it my best shot to try and hit GEN Odierno's hooch, but never had the distance. Throwing in a slide with someone's face on it in the middle of a deck. At 2200 every night, the "Chicken Dance Song" would come on in the CJ5 and everyone would stand on their desks and throw nerf toys at each other. When the job is stressful and it's 24/7, you need something. NOW...I'm pretty sure I would not have dressed up in a pirate costume and made a boat and THEN gone on camera for it, but hey...different strokes and all that.
