What is the best glove for the field that you can still shoot with?

That's what I am currently using just don't like how far they go up my arm. I've rolled them down, too. Nothing beats free, though. lol

SGT (Join to see) They actually make them shorter just for shooting. I always cut off the trigger finger.

Everybody went spending a lot of money on fancy gloves during my first deployment, and I only spent a few bucks on two pairs of flight gloves that lasted me my whole deployment (and I still have them 8 years later). Probably the best pair of field gloves I ever purchased.

Deer hide always worked for me. Very soft, snug as a condom, and tough. Old school though, way before all these fancy-schpancy gloves came out. You can dye them to match uniform.

I still have a set of modified Flight Gloves...
I soaked them in water and wore them till they were dry and shrank to fir my hands, and Pressed a cuff in them at the wrist...
took some rough grit sand paper and roughed up the fingers so they had good grip...
made a slit on the trigger finger to poke the finger out for positive Pressure control on the trigger
