I got to spend a week in the North Korean Capitol of Pyongyang. We walked through building 3 at JSA, and drove to Pyongyang. I can actually say I've seen freedom village from the north side, and I have a pic of the South Korean building from the North.

I also was one of the 500 paratroopers at the 50th anniversary D-day jump in 94.

That is awesome! I got to go to St. Mere-Eglise for about a week with the 101st for the 65th anniversary in 2009! I didn't jump, but we did participate in many ceremonies honoring those who fought so bravely in WWII.

Totally awesome and great you got to experience the only continent that the vast majority of people in the world will never go to.

MSgt - Thanks for bringing me supplies. I was one of those guys on the Ice at McMurdo Station. I was on the Ice Runway Ramp when the first C-5 landed. Everyone was so scared that the aircraft would be to heavy for the 12' thick ice. We had the Navy Engineers watching the ice deflection around the plane. It was a big day at McMurdo.
